This event has already ended.

This is a discussion group for mission pastors and outreach leaders in local churches.

At the end of our time together we hope that you'll have deepened your knowledge and relationships with other leaders who serve in a similar capacity in churches around the country.

Topic

Is moving towards an intercultural ecclesiology the result of our current global immigration or was it part of an original plan for humanity? Being culturally intelligent is not about being better at navigating our multicultural world. Rather, it is about learning to love interculturally because of the Gospel.

Come to discuss culture, immigration and learn some elements of cultural intelligence.

Participation

Please register online at Eventbrite. A Zoom link will be sent to you the day before the event.

Panel Members:

  • Gord Schutz, Lead Pastor, Mountainview Alliance Church, Langley
  • Jorge Lin, Church Planter, Church of All Nations (meeting at New Westminster EFC)
  • Sherman Lau, Mission Central (Manager of Agency Collaboration and Doctor of Intercultural Studies candidate at Western Seminary, Portland)
