As a former journalist and editor turned communications specialist and agency owner, Hosea’s experience includes more than 12 years of work in media and public relations, His specialty in generating content, building engagement, creating brand messaging, and developing outreach strategies spans multiple industries, clients, platforms, and communities. But beyond what's written on paper is a heart for "the least of these" — having personally seen the impact of poverty, suffering, and injustice in Cambodia, Guatemala, and China. Hosea senses a calling to serve in enhancing awareness and to speak up for those with diminished voices. Hosea is the co-founder of Spotlight West Communications and attends Tenth Church.

Tony Sanz

Tony was born and raised in Switzerland in a Christian home, studied Electrical Engineering, made a personal commitment to follow Christ and moved to Vancouver in 1981 for two years, but never left. He and his wife Verena joined West Coast Christian Fellowship (WCCF) in 1981 and never left there either. He worked for an engineering company in Richmond for 34+ years, mostly as a project manager.

Missions is on their family's hearts, and with the children and Verena they have served overseas in several locations. Most recently Tony and Verena followed a call to serve as ESL teachers in Guatemala for 10 months. Prayer and financial support for long term missionaries is part of their fabric, and they are all long-term supporters of Missions Fest, now Mission Central. Tony serves as an elder at West Coast Christian Fellowship and is the Chairperson of the Mission Central Board.

John Suan

John serves as a trusted adviser to the Board. For over 30 years, John worked with private and public healthcare providers in Asia in a variety of roles, including Chief Executive, with responsibilities in operations, development, information, marketing, and consulting. In his last position, he served as Group Chief Executive for the social service and healthcare arm of the Diocese of Singapore, providing services for children to the elderly who were suffering from various forms of disabilities. John is actively involved in ministry, serving missions groups, churches, and Christian academies.

John sees missions as being both across the globe as well as in your neighborhood –wherever God has planted you. He believes an important role for Mission Central is to help interpret and bring right understanding to all the information that is available ‘out there’ (ie. internet, random writers etc.) on mission. This includes fostering deeper engagement of every church’s membership with Mission Central. Having worked on the Festival of Praise in Asia, he learned that you cannot sustain involvement of the church with a single annual event. He would like to see Mission Central continue to develop other resources and events that keep the church involved and focused on mission.
